доброго дня всем!
такая проблемка: в админпанеле-администрирование контента-категории файлов не добавляются эти самые категории.
происходит следующее: заполняю поля (все или частично, при различных опциях из выпадающих списков, русскими или латинницей), нажимаю "сохранить", что-то происходит (типа передача данных), обновляется страница и в итоге получаем пустые поля, категория при этом не создается. ошибок не выдает, сборка стоит последняя.
куда копать?
ЗЫ php не знаю, поэтому просьба объяснять на пальцах (немногоо знаю html если это важно)
ЗЗЫ поиском не нашел, так что ногами не пинать
ЗЗЗЫ категории новостей, ссылок и статей создаются нормально

а при переустановке получим голый сайт без всех настроек? или как то можно базу сохраненную импортировать? и если проблема в базе то есть ли смысл переустанавливать и старый бэкап подцеплять?

может с правами какаянить хрень? кстати объясните зачем и как менять права записи (что-то про 777) и где это вообще надо делать?

создал новую базу, поставил заново всю систему - все то же самое
че я не так делаю?
и все-таки где (как) меняются права доступа с 644 на 777 ? чето нигде не нашел.
ЗЫ весь сервак поднят у мну на компе, то есть есть прямой доступ к файлам

Права доступа меняются ТОЛЬКО под никсами, под виндой есть распределение доступа в нтфс но это к делу не относится.
Простой ответ про права - под виндой не думай о них, думай о них на хостинге.
Я хз че может быть с категориями, если база как ты говоришь и файлы верны, то я умываю руки. Слишком мало информации чтобы чем то помочь.

и на этом спасибо! серв на винде, права посмотрел, вроде все в норме.
значит придется ручками страницу писать и править, когда новые файлы буду добавлять ((
и еще вопрос не в эту тему, но чтоб топики не плодить - существует ли какоенить дополнение, чтобы массовую рассылку пользователям делать по мылу? в личке такую возможность видел, а вот через мыло не нашел.

P.S. поверь не все самое лучшее что имеет последнюю версию

до этого ошибку на 6 версии выдовало перед созданием админа

я тут с мускулом поэкспериментировал и вот че вышло
вручную добавляю данные в таблицу download_cats и естесственно все сохраняется, в автомате с вэбморды никак
далее в прописанные вручную категории пытаемся залить какиенить файлы, реакция нулевая
пришел к выводу, что мне удобнее руками писать html-код на файлы нежели так же вручную извращаться с базой )))
